Metro DC Median Sales Price 2010 10

Every month this year, the median sales price in the metro Washington, DC area exceeded the median in the corresponding month in 2009.  The median in October 2010 ($330,000) increased 3.1 percent compared to September 2010 and a significant 10 percent compared to last October.  Washington, DC had the highest month-over-month increase in the region at 10.4 percent and ended the month with the highest median sales price ($413,000). PWAR had the highest increase month-over-year, +16.3 percent.  The lowest October median sales price was posted in Prince George’s County, $190,000.
